Sculpture

Sculpture exploring the nature of reality.

The theories of quantum physics act as a foundation to underpin exploration in the studio into  gaining an insight to the deeper reality of our surroundings. Using the theories of the Observer effect and quantum entanglement to create metaphors in order to experiment with light, transparency, reflection and shadow.

Sculpture and in particular kinetic sculpture helps me as an artist to understand the mechanics of the world we live in and may offer the viewer new insights in ways of interacting with space and time. 

     Art does not deal with unknowns. Art strives to create an image of that which was unknown, 
     making it thus known.
